C.R.O.W.N. of Health
C.R.O.W.N. of Health isn’t just a title. It’s a movement built for students, leaders, and changemakers who care about doing more in their schools and communities. Whether you're starting a garden, mentoring younger kids, applying for research programs, or just trying to make your voice heard, this page is where it starts. I’ve pulled together the same tools and opportunities that helped shape my journey. Now they're yours too.

Community
Health starts with connection. From school visits to back-to-school drives, I believe in meeting people where they are and creating spaces for wellness conversations that matter.

Research
I’ve worked with institutions like Mayo Clinic and the University of Florida to explore what drives health inequities and how we can change them. Research helps us move from awareness to action.

Outreach
Outreach means showing up. Whether it’s reading my children’s book in classrooms or hosting local wellness events, I aim to make health education accessible and relatable for all ages.

Wellness
As a cheerleader for 17 years, wellness was my foundation. Today, I continue to prioritize mental, physical, and emotional well-being through preventive care, movement, rest, and joy.

Nutrition
From promoting school lunches to sharing tips on mindful eating, I’m passionate about helping kids and families understand the power of food in shaping lifelong health.

Boys & Girls Club
Through CROWN of Health, I’ve partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs across Northeast Florida to lead wellness workshops, host book readings, and launch CROWN Ambassadors in local chapters. From back-to-school drives to garden days, this partnership brings health education directly to students where they already feel safe and seen.

Feeding Florida
Proceeds from The Not So Perfect Garden Project have helped provide over 10,000 meals through Feeding Florida. This partnership connects literacy and nutrition, proving that small actions, like buying a book, can create real change in how families access food.

This book began as a story for two of my mentees and grew into the foundation of the CROWN of Health initiative. The Not So Perfect Garden teaches kids about friendship, food, and feeling seen—and has now reached hundreds of students across Florida. Thanks to the support of organizations like Kids Hope Alliance, VyStar Bank, PBS Kids, Central Fairfax Community Association, and The Resistance Book Café, over 750 books have been sponsored for local youth or distributed through pop-up events and school visits.
